The Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) approach to food safety was established by NASA to ensure the safety of food prepared for its astronauts, and has now become a global standard for maintaining food safety. The Research and Development Office pursues and provides assurance for food safety based on HACCP control methods.

Our Nishimoto Trading Group Foodstuff Shanghai co.,Ltd mainly exports materials for products to Nishimoto Trading Group companies abroad and also strives to develop new business resources. For instance, the Office’s product development capabilities are offered to the Nishimoto Trading Company of America Ltd., for Japanese food sold in the U.S. It also acts as a base for IPM for the sale within China of fresh fruits and vegetables from around the world. It provides management oversight of strawberry producing areas for Nishimoto Trading Co., Ltd. business operations. It oversees outsourcing of the production and processing of strawberries grown in China for the Company. Through our efforts in this area we aim to heighten safety and quality, and also to boost cost effectiveness.
